DIPLOMA UPDATE Update Announced July 19, 2024
Important Announcement to Our Students: Update on Program Terminology and Certification
July 19, 2024
Dear Students,
We hope this message finds you well. We want to inform you about some recent updates regarding our programs at EIE in response to changes mandated by Alberta Advanced Education.
Effective immediately, our Advanced Clinical Esthetic Program and our Full Esthetic Program will now be referred to as "Full Programs" instead of "Diploma" programs. This adjustment aligns with new guidelines set forth by Alberta Advanced Education.
Under these updated guidelines, programs that are less than 52 weeks (1 year) in length will be classified as "certificate" programs. Since our Advanced Clinical Esthetic Program and Full Esthetic Program are 46 weeks in duration, they will now be awarded a "certificate" upon successful completion.
Please note that due to these changes, EIE will be unable to authorize the issuance of "Diplomas" for programs completed after July 19, 2024. This adjustment ensures compliance with Alberta Advanced Education regulations and maintains the high standards of education and accreditation that EIE is committed to upholding.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this transition period.
