The Melanin Studio Ltd is looking for Medical Estheticians to join our team to offer skin treatments and informed personalized recommendations so customers can select appropriate services and products that suit their needs with ease.
The ideal candidate is a skilled Medical Esthetician that is passionate about delivering quality care and making a real difference in our guests’ lives. Ultimately, you will work directly with clients looking to improve the health of their skin and their overall confidence.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Permanent
Pay: From $17.44 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 50 per week
Benefits: Flexible schedule, On-site parking, Store discount
Schedule: 10 hour shift, 12 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Day shift, Evening shift, Morning shift, On call, Weekends as needed
Experience (must haves):
- Medical Aesthetician: 2 years (preferred)
- High School diploma along with a valid Esthetician’s certification
- Proven work experience as an Esthetician
- Experience working on Fitz Patrick III, IV, V & VI including but not limited to facials, chemical peels, derma-needling, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, body treatments etc.
- Deep knowledge of skin care and skin care techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to develop a plan of action for clients care
- Ability to make a client feel comfortable
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to provide legible communication
- Intermediate level math skills
- Flexible schedule
- Superior customer service skills
Nice to have:
- Blood Borne Pathogen Certification
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- A pre-existing client base
- Intermediate level math skill
- Knowledge of social media and other platforms to promote your talent to current and potential clients of The Melanin Studio Ltd
- Experience with: Manicures and Pedicures; Eyebrow shaping (waxing & threading), lamination and tinting; Eyelash lift and Eyelash tint; Waxing; Laser hair removal; and/or Body Contouring
