Dear Students,
To help you successfully complete your Student Spa requirements, shift your mindset from “How many hours will it take?” to “How many treatments can I complete?” The more bookings you have during your Student Spa sessions, the fewer extra sessions you’ll need. It’s a 50/50 partnership:
✅ We will: Advertise your services to the public, email past clients and models, and promote on social media.
✅ You will: Reach out to friends, family, and local contacts to fill your schedule.
Ways to Complete Your Requirements Faster
1️⃣ Offer ‘Add-On’ Treatments
Boost your bookings by offering upgrades! Add-ons count as full requirements and can be offered to clients during their consultation. Just remind them of the $10 add-on fee!
Add-On Options:
- Chemical Peels
- Dermaplaning
- Microdermabrasion (Full face or hands – even hands count as a full requirement!)
💡 Example Mix & Match:
- Chemical Peel + Dermaplaning → $60 + $10 = $70 + GST
- Advanced/Basic Facial + Dermaplaning
- Advanced/Basic Facial + Chemical Peel
- Advanced/Basic Facial + Microdermabrasion
📌 Note: Only one facial add-on per client per session (e.g., no chemical peel & dermaplaning together).
2️⃣ Earn Requirements with Non-Required Services
For every three non-required services you complete, you’ll earn one required treatment signed off!
Non-Required Services Include:
- Waxing
- Sugaring
- Threading
- Teeth Whitening
💡 Example:
- Complete 3 brow waxes = 1 required treatment signed off
- Complete 1 teeth whitening, 1 brow tint & 1 leg wax = 1 required treatment signed off
📌 Reminder: You must see Jessica at the front desk for sign-off for these ones. The service signed off will be at their discretion. Please note that required treatments cannot be swapped—for example, completing a chemical peel will not count toward a Dermaplaning sign-off.
3️⃣ Attend & Complete ‘Mentor Minutes’
Once a month, we offer a free online session called Mentor Minutes covering various topics. At the end, you’ll receive a small task/question to complete.
📌 How It Works:
- Attend the 1-hour session
- Complete the task & email it to info@eiemedispa.ca within 14 days
- Receive 1 student spa requirement signed off per completed task!
4️⃣ Sign Up for Special Events
From non-profit volunteer events to high school showcases, these opportunities allow you to gain experience and potentially have Student Spa requirements signed off! Stay tuned for announcements.
