Excellence in Public Law Scholarship - NEW!
The Excellence in Public Law Scholarship recognizes and rewards academic achievement of outstanding upper year students enrolled full-time in the faculty of law: one award at the University of Alberta, and one award at the University of Calgary.
Two awards valued at $10,000 each. Each university selects an award recipient based on their academic standing in course work focused on the field of public law, which includes courses focused on constitutionalism (including federalism), the rule of law and statutory interpretation. Consideration will also be given to applicants who are enrolled in combined programs, (e.g., LLB/MBA programs).
An individual may receive a lifetime maximum of one award.
How to Apply
There is no application form. Recipients are selected by their university based solely upon their academic standing in their law degree program.
